Jacobson Realty is growing! I’m very excited to introduce you to Tyren Johns, the new salesperson at Jacobson Realty! While I focus on the Gainesville area, the plan is for Tyren to concentrate his efforts in Bristow and Manassas. Tyren may be new to real estate, but he’s had a long history of success in the sales business.
A Successful Salesman
Tyren started his sales career eight years ago in marketing and advertising. He then transitioned over to capital sales, or long-term sales, where he became a sales representative and territory manager. He worked for Essilor Instruments USA, a medical sales company located in Paris, France. Tyren worked with the U.S. headquarters located in Dallas, Texas and Chicago, Illinois. His territory covered the Mid-Atlantic, including New York City, New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, D.C., Northern Virginia and West Virginia.
Destination – Real Estate
Tyren says that he’s always wanted to go into real estate. Even during his early years in sales, real estate was in the back of his mind.
“It was something that I always wanted to do. I like the challenge of dealing with a different side of sales, so I am eager to do real estate,” he said.
Tyren has recently completed 60 class hours with Moseley Real Estate School and is about to get his salesperson license. He passed both the state and national portions of the test. Right now, he’s just waiting to get his license number and is eager to get started.
“I’m looking forward to it,” he said.
Additionally, Tyren is working on becoming an ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative) certified associate just like me. The ABR certification is a special certification for realtors that makes them especially qualified to work with home buyers. Tyren will specifically be working with buyers.
Eager to Get Started
I will be mentoring and training Tyren concerning all the real estate market’s ins and outs, and we will work as a team to serve all of western Prince William County. I asked Tyren what he is going to like most about being a buyer’s representative.
“I think what I’m going to enjoy most is having that challenge: helping buyers look for houses, working on getting them the best deal and helping them come up with the best offer for the house they want,” he said.
I’m so excited to bring Tyren on board. He’s goal-oriented and client-focused.
“I want to be an asset to Jacobson Realty and be successful. The big thing is to be a personable person, which I think I am. I also want to be a realtor who clients can rely on,” he said.
I can’t wait to have Tyren on my team. His enthusiasm is infectious!
“I’m new to the game. I’m energetic, and I look forward to this new adventure!” said Tyren.
